“Bucket List Fishing”

Larry Hansen started fishing when he was four-years old with his grandparents at Big Bear Lake for trout and has had the “disease” ever since! He didn’t begin saltwater fishing until he was 26, but made up for lost time targeting Dorado first in Loreto and then gradually pretty much every gamefish that swims in the Pacific. “My specialties include: All southeast Alaska gamefish including kings, coho, halibut, lings, crab, and shrimp. All of Baja Mexico including Gonzaga Bay, Bahia de Los Angeles, Mag Bay, La Bocana for all species including wahoo, trophy grouper and snook. Lobster hooping in and around Catalina island for the last 20 years.” In 2019, Larry semi-retired from his day job and founded Pacific Sportfishing Alliance, which allows anglers to fish with them in places like Gustavus AK, Mag Bay, and others. “It is our mission to provide anglers with the opportunity to fish in these world class fisheries and catch their bucket list fish of a lifetime!.
