SDA Annual Awards Banquet

April 6, 2013 - The Annual San Diego Anglers Awards Banquet was moved back to the beautiful Bay View Restaurant located on the MCRD base on Point Loma.  Richard and Zella Burk along with help from Tim Macauley, Debbie Patenaude and John Forster planned the banquet this year and did a terrific job!  With 115 tickets sold to the event, Raffle Master, John Forster expanded the raffle which made for one of the best raffles in years. We had an overnight stay at the Crystal Pier, restaurant dining at the Marine Room in La Jolla, jewelry from John Petty and of course the prize most saught after by the fisherman; a 5-day trip on the Vagabond. Plus then more for the fisherman… rods, reels, assorted fishing tackle, a trip to La Paz, and much, much more! Participation was so enthusiastic that we will be moving to a larger facility next year. I hear rumors it might be at the Admiral Kidd Club on Point Loma.
